So we started testing. Really testing. We assembled a panel of 20+ dogs \u2014 from tiny Chihuahuas to power-chewing Pit Bulls \u2014 and put every toy through its paces.

Every toy that lands on DogToyLab goes through our 3-phase testing process:
Phase 1: Material Inspection. We check stitching, material quality, and safety. Any toy with questionable dyes or choking hazards is disqualified immediately.
Phase 2: The Dog Test. Toys go to our panel for 2+ weeks of real-world play. We track engagement, destruction rate, and whether dogs actually come back to it.
Phase 3: The Durability Score. We rate each toy on a 1-10 scale for durability, engagement, safety, and value. Only toys scoring 7+ across the board get our recommendation.
We never accept payment for reviews. If a toy is bad, we\'ll tell you. If it\'s overpriced, we\'ll say that too. Our loyalty is to dogs and their people \u2014 not toy companies.
